The boys in the office had a full on training day with Alex from ‘Ensign’ this week.
Ensign provides contractors with enormous time savings, cost savings and accuracy when producing their quotes.
Since 1980 Ensign has worked hard to provide user friendly software and real value for money and is therefore used by thousands of contractors both large and small.
There are the 2 types of Software ensign offer the PDF Estimator where we download the drawings we have been sent by our clients. We then measure and mark up the Drawing via the software, once measured, it then gives us a list of fittings and the prices to us.
This software;
• Saves our business time and money printing drawings
• Saves us time manually marking up drawings
• Saves us precious time manually writing quantities on to take-off sheets
• Exports all quantities to Excel for example
• Exports all quantities automatically into Ensign’s Mechanical Estimating software for instant material and labour costs
We also have the Mechanical package where we can put labour rates, fuel and all the list of materials. It then calculates the cost for us. We can then send a complete costing to our clients with information, drawings etc.
