Engineer Training
January 28, 2020 Lisa

Optimise Heat, Steam & Brewery Services are committed to having well trained engineers. Allowing them to work on all aspects of your steam or hot water systems.

We highly value the application of Health and Safety within the workplace and on sites for our engineers and customers. We regularly update the training of our staff in their areas of expertise, whether it is with specific courses, study days or topical toolbox talks.

Well done to Ilie this week who completed his “Working in a medium confined space” trainning. Our thanks to SKILLS Training Centre.

We began the year with our annual staff training and screening. All engineers took part in Abrasive Wheels, Working At Height and Fire Practice, all gained their certificates and a good two days of learning and increasing ones knowledge was had !

Lung function and hearing screening also took place. We appear to have a fit bunch as all staff that took part passed.  So it really will be a happy and healthy new year start!

Justin one of our pipe fitter/welders passed his CITB Health & safety/Environment test.

Please see our “Safety First ” news article, which is continuously updated with all the toolbox talks/ updates kindly given by Yvonne our Safety, Health & Environment Administrator to all our engineers. (Downloads are also available to read on this section).

This week all our engineers completed their annual update in Manual Handling. They also took part in an Asbestos Awareness Study day and received their ongoing training in this area.

Congratulations  !

Congratulations to both Dave and Darren, who passed the Water Regulations 1999 course, provided by NICEIC.
