Update

You may remember back in September we supported this group of lovely lads in their bike hike (see below) to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis and Pancreatic Cancer. The aim was to raise £4000 for these worthy causes. This amazing group of friends totally smashed it and raised a grand total of £13000!!! A huge congrats to the Tour De Trigger riders, we salute you guys !

September

A good friend of Optimise Heat and Steam Ollie Brown, along with six of his closest pals are raising money for their best friend Craig. Craig has suffered all his life with CF (cystic fibrosis) but was recently been given the devastating news he has pancreatic cancer.

Friends say that Craig is a true fighter and to help him in his fight they wanted to show their heart felt support.  So, on the  21st & 22nd September 2019 a team of 7 lads donned their lycra and hopped on their bikes to travel for two days. The first day was a 75.12 mile ride to White Hart Lane at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club  for a group visit. An overnight stop in north London and  a return journey of 75.12 miles back to the White Horse pub in Beyton, Suffolk, totalling 150.77 miles. It was an honour to watch these amazing lads ride into the village, a true friendship at its very, very best!

The Tour de Trigger riders were:

Will Bauly; Ollie Brown; Russell Claydon; George Martin; Philip Mole; James Mould; Mitchell Sawyer.

All the money this group of  incredible friends raised will go to Pancreatic Cancer UK and the Cystic Fibrosis  fund.

They have totally smashed their original target of £4000 ( £2000 to each charity) and have, so far reached £9,046.69( £10,701.93 with gift aid) with donations still flooding in!

The fund raising doesn’t end with the bike hike ! This weekend at the White Horse in Beyton Village is the usual enjoyable Sarah’s Charity Day, where further fund raising will be taking place for additional donations for the two charities, all while remembering a lovely lady.

Lisa and Paul are so proud of Ollie and his mates and proud to say that Optimise made their donation today, will you please help to raise further funds in aid of one top bloke, two great charities and an awesome group of friends!
