The Alcumus SafeContractor is a SSIP-approved health and safety assessment scheme for contractors who want to demonstrate that they’re taking responsibility for their legal health and safety requirements. The annual audit ensures our risk management processes are of the highest standard, which, ultimately, gives our clients’ peace of mind. Accredited SafeContractors are well known – and trusted – for their thorough Health & Safety processes. Once accreditation has been achieved you are added to the client portal, which can be accessed by big brand clients looking for approved contractors to work on their site.

As a company we have been able to demonstrated compliance with the CHAS standards, in line with SSIP Core Criteria and UK Health & Safety Legislation and has therefore been awarded accreditation to the requirements of the CM Regulations.
Gas safe Registration
Registration is only given on the basis of the business having at least one gas safety qualified engineer. A gas engineer can only be aligned to a registered business and be issued with a license to undertake gas work on behalf of a registered business if they hold a valid and current qualification. This evidence of competence relates only to matters of gas safety and is obtained by every engineer through a recognised route of training and assessment.
